This groundbreaking initiative offers housing solutions to homeless veterans while concurrently supporting their mental health journey with the companionship and assistance of their service dog.
This is done by combining:
– Safe and stable temporary housing
– Service dog training and support
– Introduction and support to evaluate mental health programs
– Social and therapeutic engagement with other Veteran service dog teams through outdoor activities
